(1:45)Thank you very much.Good morning to you all. My name is Gert Ras. I'm head of the
National High Tech Crime Unit, the Netherlands National Police.

(3:12)...by cyber crime. And these cyber crime scheme, bulletproof hosting, is the essential
element. These criminals deliberately facilitate the hosting of spying and phishing, DDOS
attacks, malware campaigns, and the distribution of child pornography.

(4:18)In 2015, the National High Tech Crime Unit of the Netherlands Police identified a major
bulletproof hosting company, called Maxided, which in the following investigation would seem
to be affiliated with a file sharing service, called Depfile, mainly used to facilitate the distribution
of child pornography. In the investigation, we identified two suspects. The older, or CEO of the
company, and his tactical, financial companion. They both were arrested yesterday, the first by
the Royal Thai Police, and the second by the National Police Service of Bulgaria. The National
High Tech Crime Units took down the network of more than 100 servers, and the users are
now redirected to the sprash page emphasizing "it's taken down".
