European countries' people except German are reluctant to accept the refugees from the Middle East.
German is ready to accept the refugees on the humanitarian grounds.

i can understand what you say.
ordinary japanese people must have learned that prepositions should be (or "must" be) followed by nouns.
i also felt bewildered/surprised when i first saw non "preps+nouns" english phrases after having graduated from school
later i found and read "weird" phrases in paperback novels again and again and now i get used to it.
e.g. she appeared "from behind the cabinet".

What I can't keep up with a native makes me tired of leaning English.
But, I would like to operate English even slowly speeking.

Is this sentence correct?

I think the reason why Germany accept the refugee is not only by humanitarian grounds but also by economic one.
The nation conquered a problem of Reunification which brought huge population growth. It gobbled up population and
by doing so still keeps steady economic growth.

If you ask me I don't like America.how about ppl.. yeah,I must admit that many ppl living there is not good if they are always right.
Because they don't care about what they do to overseas.and they are belivebing that america is brave, justice, and leader of the world.

the propakanda from them is successed. halliwood,tv show,fashion..
Do you ever think it's too much of european models..
even santaclaus, christ. it have something to do with the image-buliding strategy.Japanese are belived to that they are good ,even...they belive they have something special.
I am fed up with this. And nowadays Japanese say that when they see someone who are good at speaking... oh they are cool.lot alone for foreigners but asians..
what's worse Japanese dont realize the meaning of what exactly i am saying.I lived in overseas few years and I sometimes saw Japanese woman who believe european is cool but they never say
Japanese is cool. All of those people did Japan-sage was woman.what bitches...
So I really hate such kind of people who are not proud of themself.

You are almost correct. The first sentence should be:
"That I can't keep up with a native makes me tired of learning English."
The second sentence is mostly fine but the world "operate" sounds strange here.
You might want to just say 'use.'

IMHO (In my humble opinion),Germans are only taking refugees because they fear they will be seen as Nazis if they don't accept people.
Even though the regime was busted 70 years ago.

>Corrections
To each is own.

>Germany
I get the idea that they just came to have some stupidly far left people in charge over time, largely due to not wanting to be seen as nazis.
I don't think that right now they are actively trying to avoid being called nazis but rather this is the result of that mentality in the past.

Do you know how painter life is.I know how it is. I am the one.
I have to work hard more, and need to toughen up to make what I want to do happen. If I can't sell my drawings in a month,I need to get parttime-job.
In this past few monthes I do my job and dipping into the saving of my account. Many people seem don't understand my aim and why I choose this kind of life.
Self-hired life suits me.Everytime I see those people who are in suitstyle with boring face on the way to their office, they makes me think I don't want to be like that,
perherps ,never be able to go back such life I used to do.I know those job and people is needed in this society. One thing I dont like of typical-sarari-man style is that
why do they wear same suit everyday instead of casual clothes,Japanese traditional clothes.I don't wanna follow without thinking.Don't wanna be one of followers.
I am used to be missunderstood, not be accepted with narrow minded people. If i can go step in good field,i can meet good people to accept me,for that I need highskill for my job though.
In art fieled and whatever job,if you are poor skill, you are nothing. that is hard thing when purthing way of fleerancer.Company never protect you.
The thing is that I like people who are proud of themself and believing they are doing what they want.

The word "gaijin(外人)" has "outsider" kind of meaning, so it's more polite to say "gaikokujin(外国人)."

Japanese→Jap)
ことがあるため、日本語でもそうであると理解されているケースや、単純に外人であることで日本社会から疎外されていると感じるケースなどがある。

isn't it like a required subject or something?

anyhow, i wish schools took foreign language teaching more seriously here (in america).
like, it was a graduation requirement, and the school didn't really give a shit if
the kids actually learned something about the language or not, just that
they had it on their credits. for real, i'd say about half the kids that had
to take a class passed with the lowest passing grade.

It also doesn't help that there wasn't much variety in the options available.
where i went, we could only choose one of two languages: Spanish, or French.
some other schools in the district offered things like German and Japanese in addition, but
our school was poor so we only had french and fucking spanish.

in my freshman year, it was super relieving when i took 3rd year french and
saw that there were others who actually liked learning the language and using it.
it was super comfy, because my class only had about 12 people in it,
most of the class being super qt grills. also the teacher was a total bro.

At my school, we had Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Latin.
We were required to take one of those for at least 2 years consecutively.
The levels of dedication were very different between the languages though.
The kids taking Spanish did not care at all, the ones taking French either cared a lot or not at all,
The ones in German were very interested in their language, the ones in Japanese (myself included) practiced Japanese like a religion,
and the few people left over in Latin really just wanted to do well on their SATs, which was respectable and the classes were all filled with smart kids.

After the incidents of youth suicide in the mid-1980s, bullyings at junior high schools tapered off at least on the surface.
But recently, a number of bullyings at elementary and junior high schools has multiplied to an alarming extent.

When I was in college, I took German as(for?) third language.
We had one class -50 minutes- a week for a year, so about 25-30 hours in total.
That was nothing, right?
That was no way to learn a new language.
I can't use German in any way, I can't understand German at all.
BTW, I had no English classes in college.

What kind of college is that?

In my college I was required to take the second language from German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Korean, Russian. And then I took German since it's similar to English so I thought it's easier.

I remember there were 2 classes of 90 minutes in a week for one year.

Now I don't remember anything about German.

A friend of mine who lives in Thailand are studying Germany since last month.he said that it would take long time to be a fluent speaker .
For basic grammer, six monthes. then Two years for brushing up every skill for the laungage.
The reason why it will takes so long time is because ,he guesss, there are big different grammar rule between his mother
tougne and Germany.I heard that ,in germany laungage, there are gender rule in each word. How strange...

The idea of words having genders bothers me so much that I've never learned another European language besides English.
And Mandarin and Cantonese scare me because of their tonal words.
Why is every language so complicated?

888 :名無しさん@英語勉強中:2015/09/17(木) 04:47:20.61 ID:UOVoC/d6.net
Because English is the easiest language.
Maybe.

>The idea of words having genders bothers me so much that I've never learned another European language besides English.

word genders aren't that difficult though. Usually it just means an article
or adjective will change its pronunciation slightly.

fun fact: before the normans invaded england , english had three genders
and four cases, like modern german, as well as things like a subjunctive case.

To Japanese, Korean is the easiest for sure.

For those who speak Latin-root languages, they are all easy.

So you spent much more time learning German than me,
but still can't use it... that's good to know.
I wonder how much time is just good enough (and not too much) for third language
to college students.

Of course I could take English class in college, but I didn't.
Because back then, I hated English as a subject so much!!
But after I turned 20, I started travelling abroad and
gradually my aversion to English faded away.
No wonder my grammer knowledge is poor.

I looked up the meaning. It was totally different.
Or you might tend to say さびぃ though.

I'm glad that disgustingly hot summer is finally gone.
I had to live through this summer without an air conditioner because it broke down and I could not
afford to replace it.
As a proverb," no heat or cold lasts beyond the equinox." goes, it's starting to feel like autumn these days.
Speaking of autumn, Sei Syonagon, an female author in the Heian period, said, " Twilight is best in autumn."
Yeah, I totally agree to her opinion.
When evening comes, somehow, I feel a bit melancholy and become something of a poet.
