Why are jpop so lame now?

Jpop used to be cool back in 2000s(utada,kumi koda,etc),
nowaday hardly any artist make it to the world(there are some but
not as popular as kpop), and there are too much idol group,
some of them are too lame for real.

The adjective much cannot modify a countable noun.
Therefore, in this case you should 'many' instead of 'much'.

The reason is clear, because J-POP cannot make a lot of money like before.
What’s more Japan is an awfully aging society and the old listeners are favor of their own old music songs.
So as a “musician” it is very hard for young people to make a livinghood in Japan.

This is coming from someone who thinks heavily commercialized
kpoop is an authentic music genre. I couldn't care less about
any "pop" crap, Japanese or American or otherwise, but who
really cares if something is popular in the ウリナラファンタジー
"world" anyway. And no, "koda" and the rest of avex crap
"artists" were never the epitome of musical excellence. They
were just as bad.
