開幕戦は日本屈指のバトルダンサーとして知られるＣＡＮＤＯＯ（３９）がチームリーダーの「ＳＥＧＡ　ＳＡＭＭＹ　ＬＵＸ」が制し、勝ち点１０を獲得した。

　１５〜４３歳と幅広い世代、ジャンルのＤリーガー。
最高年俸は１０００万円超という。
ＥＬＬＹは、Ｄリーガーのスキルを「（自身の）何段階も上」という。

「新しい扉を開ける 」

　サムライギタリストのMIYAVIは、自身が語学・教育アンバサダーを務めるECCの新しいプロジェクト『世界人になろう』プロジェクトをサポートする。

『SAMURAI ENGLISH』の第1弾は公開中

　同プロジェクトは、英語の苦手意識を克服して、世界にはばたいていく“世界人”を応援するもの。
ECCとMIYAVIがさまざまなコンテンツを通じて英語学習をサポートする。

　プロジェクトのYou Tubeチャンネルでは、MIYAVIがウェブ番組『SAMURAI ENGLISH』の第1弾を公開している。
番組は、MIYAVI自身がこれまでの英語学習で得た経験をもとに、英語のフレーズや実践的な英会話のポイントを紹介するもの。
MCをサッシャが務める。
番組は、毎週日曜21時に更新される。

MIYAVI、二十歳の頃は「やんちゃばっかりしてました」

今年1月11日（月）は成人の日。
MIYAVIが、J-WAVEでこの日にオンエアした特番『J-WAVE HOLIDAY SPECIAL 20VOICES 20TUNES』にて、二十歳の頃を振り返り、新成人にエールを送った。

いろいろと、やんちゃばっかりしていた
MIYAVIはミュージシャンだけでなく俳優として活動中。
さらにイタリアのブランド・グッチのグローバルキャンペーン「Gucci Off the Grid collection」に日本人ミュージシャンとして初めて起用され、
UNHCR・国連難民高等弁務官事務所の親善大使も務めるなどグローバルに活躍している。

1981年生まれのMIYAVIが二十歳の頃を振り返った。

MIYAVI：二十歳の頃は荒れてましたね（笑）。
当時はバンドを組んでギターを弾いていて、機材車で日本をまわり、アジアにも行き始めていたのでとにかくライブをして、ステージ上では頭を振って客席に飛び込んで、いろいろとやんちゃばっかりしてました。

今ではギター1本で世界と渡り合うMIYAVIは、二十歳の頃にどんな音楽を聴いていたのだろうか。

MIYAVI：二十歳前後はナイン・インチ・ネイルズとかマリリン・マンソン、コーン、リンプ・ビズキットとかよく聴いていましたね。
ちょうどリンプ・ビズキットの『Rollin'』とか『Take a look around』とか、2000年代のミクスチャーミュージックをよく聴いていました。
自分自身、世界中で自分の音楽を鳴らしたいという思いはあったんですけど、
なかなか「これが俺のスタイルだ」ってのがまだ確立されていなかったので、
そういう意味ではいろんな音楽を模索していたし、ハードコアのバンドとか自分が観ていて興奮する、ワクワクするような音楽が好きだったのでよく聴いていましたね。

英語の壁を感じている人の背中を押したい
MIYAVIは今年からECC語学・教育推進アンバサダーに就任した。

MIYAVI：これまでずっと世界中を旅してきて、言葉の大事さ（を感じています）。自分は25歳まで英語を話すことができませんでした。
僕たち音楽家は音楽を通じて人とつながることができるけれども、
目の前にいる人たちに自分の気持ちを伝えられないもどかしさをずっと感じていたので、
英語の壁を感じている人の背中を押して、
これからどんどん世界に羽ばたいていきたいという思いがある人たちのサポートができればなと思っています。

今後はECCの中で働く人や実際に日本の教育に携わる人たちとの意見交換や対談によって、日本でどういう教育が成されているのかを知りつつ、
「特に語学教育は全く足りていないと感じているので、語学力や対話力、コミュニケーション能力を高めていけるのか、
それしてその能力を持って海外で戦える人材をどうやって育成していけるのかをコミットしていきたい」と語った。

MIYAVI：また、楽しく英語を学べるコンテンツもやっていきたいなと思っています。（J-WAVEの番組でナビゲーターを務める）サッシャさんと一緒に実践で戦える英語のフレーズを紹介する「SAMURAI ENGLISH」など、いろんなコンテンツもやっていきたいと思っています。

MIYAVI：他にも生徒のみなさんとの意見交換もしたいですし、身近に英語を感じられる機会をどんどん作っていければなと思っています。
僕自身、英語だけじゃなくて、中国語とかも学んでいるんですけど、
言葉を通じて人の心を知ることができる、そして人の心を知って初めてお互い理解ができ、尊敬し合え、
それを持って初めて平和の基礎を築ける。
これがECCの理念であり、僕も強く共鳴している部分もあります。
言葉を通じてどんどん海外の出来事を知る。
日本人である前に世界人であるので、これから先、僕たちがこの地球で暮らしていて自分たちにできることをどうやっていくのか、
未来に向けて自分たちにできることをどんどん発見して発信していく。
そのために世界を知ることはすごく大事なことだと思うので、
語学教育を通じてその意識もどんどん高めていければなと思っています。

最後にMIYAVIは二十歳のリスナーに向け「コロナで情勢が不安定で、未来の見通しが立たない状態だけど、それでも未来を作るのはみなさんの時代」と語り、
「僕たちも誇りを持って、胸を張って次の世代にバトンタッチしていけるように活動していきたいと思っているし、
みなさんも未来を諦めずに自分たちの手で明るい道を作ってほしい」とエールを送った。

日本人初のUNHCR親善大使を務めるアーティストMIYAVIさんが、
『ECC語学・教育推進アンバサダー』に就任

　株式会社ECC（本社：大阪市北区、代表取締役社長：山口勝美）と提携法人である学校法人 山口学園（本部：大阪市北区、理事長：酒元英二）は、
日本人初のUNHCR親善大使を務めるアーティストMIYAVIさん（所属：株式会社LDH JAPAN）とパートナーシップ契約を締結しました。
本契約によりMIYAVIさんは『ECC語学・教育推進アンバサダー』に就任し、ECCはMIYAVIさんと一緒に様々な活動（教育コンテンツの開発など）を通して「世界で活躍できる人材の育成」に取り組んでまいります。
また、本活動を通じてSDGs 目標4【質の高い教育をみんなに】の達成に向けた様々な取り組みも行ってまいります。

　契約締結に至った理由は、MIYAVIさんの語学教育に対する思いと海外での活動が、ECCの建学の理念にある「外国語教授を通じて、近代的なセンスと国際的な感覚を持った社会に実際的に活躍でき得る有用な人材を育成」という思いと一致したためです。

そして、そんな自分が好きではありませんでした。
日本には素晴らしい才能やコンテンツがたくさんあります。

 僕はギタリストです。

分かり合えてはじめて、心を許すことができる。

僕自身も「話せないもどかしさ」と、「話せるようになるまでの道のりの大変さ」を痛いくらいに感じてきました。

今年1月11日（月）は成人の日。
MIYAVIが、J-WAVEでこの日にオンエアした特番『J-WAVE HOLIDAY SPECIAL 20VOICES 20TUNES』にて、二十歳の頃を振り返り、新成人にエールを送った。

いろいろと、やんちゃばっかりしていた
MIYAVIはミュージシャンだけでなく俳優として活動中。
さらにイタリアのブランド・グッチのグローバルキャンペーン「Gucci Off the Grid collection」に日本人ミュージシャンとして初めて起用され、
UNHCR・国連難民高等弁務官事務所の親善大使も務めるなどグローバルに活躍している。

1981年生まれのMIYAVIが二十歳の頃を振り返った。

MIYAVI：二十歳の頃は荒れてましたね（笑）。
当時はバンドを組んでギターを弾いていて、機材車で日本をまわり、アジアにも行き始めていたのでとにかくライブをして、ステージ上では頭を振って客席に飛び込んで、いろいろとやんちゃばっかりしてました。

今ではギター1本で世界と渡り合うMIYAVIは、二十歳の頃にどんな音楽を聴いていたのだろうか。

MIYAVI：二十歳前後はナイン・インチ・ネイルズとかマリリン・マンソン、コーン、リンプ・ビズキットとかよく聴いていましたね。
ちょうどリンプ・ビズキットの『Rollin'』とか『Take a look around』とか、2000年代のミクスチャーミュージックをよく聴いていました。
自分自身、世界中で自分の音楽を鳴らしたいという思いはあったんですけど、
なかなか「これが俺のスタイルだ」ってのがまだ確立されていなかったので、
そういう意味ではいろんな音楽を模索していたし、ハードコアのバンドとか自分が観ていて興奮する、ワクワクするような音楽が好きだったのでよく聴いていましたね。

英語の壁を感じている人の背中を押したい
MIYAVIは今年からECC語学・教育推進アンバサダーに就任した。

MIYAVI：これまでずっと世界中を旅してきて、言葉の大事さ（を感じています）。自分は25歳まで英語を話すことができませんでした。
僕たち音楽家は音楽を通じて人とつながることができるけれども、
目の前にいる人たちに自分の気持ちを伝えられないもどかしさをずっと感じていたので、
英語の壁を感じている人の背中を押して、
これからどんどん世界に羽ばたいていきたいという思いがある人たちのサポートができればなと思っています。

今後はECCの中で働く人や実際に日本の教育に携わる人たちとの意見交換や対談によって、日本でどういう教育が成されているのかを知りつつ、
「特に語学教育は全く足りていないと感じているので、語学力や対話力、コミュニケーション能力を高めていけるのか、
それしてその能力を持って海外で戦える人材をどうやって育成していけるのかをコミットしていきたい」と語った。

MIYAVI：また、楽しく英語を学べるコンテンツもやっていきたいなと思っています。（J-WAVEの番組でナビゲーターを務める）サッシャさんと一緒に実践で戦える英語のフレーズを紹介する「SAMURAI ENGLISH」など、いろんなコンテンツもやっていきたいと思っています。

MIYAVI：他にも生徒のみなさんとの意見交換もしたいですし、身近に英語を感じられる機会をどんどん作っていければなと思っています。
僕自身、英語だけじゃなくて、中国語とかも学んでいるんですけど、
言葉を通じて人の心を知ることができる、そして人の心を知って初めてお互い理解ができ、尊敬し合え、
それを持って初めて平和の基礎を築ける。
これがECCの理念であり、僕も強く共鳴している部分もあります。
言葉を通じてどんどん海外の出来事を知る。
日本人である前に世界人であるので、これから先、僕たちがこの地球で暮らしていて自分たちにできることをどうやっていくのか、
未来に向けて自分たちにできることをどんどん発見して発信していく。
そのために世界を知ることはすごく大事なことだと思うので、
語学教育を通じてその意識もどんどん高めていければなと思っています。

最後にMIYAVIは二十歳のリスナーに向け「コロナで情勢が不安定で、未来の見通しが立たない状態だけど、それでも未来を作るのはみなさんの時代」と語り、
「僕たちも誇りを持って、胸を張って次の世代にバトンタッチしていけるように活動していきたいと思っているし、
みなさんも未来を諦めずに自分たちの手で明るい道を作ってほしい」とエールを送った。

　株式会社ECC（本社：大阪市北区、代表取締役社長：山口勝美）と提携法人である学校法人 山口学園（本部：大阪市北区、理事長：酒元英二）は、
日本人初のUNHCR親善大使を務めるアーティストMIYAVIさん（所属：株式会社LDH JAPAN）とパートナーシップ契約を締結しました。
本契約によりMIYAVIさんは『ECC語学・教育推進アンバサダー』に就任し、ECCはMIYAVIさんと一緒に様々な活動（教育コンテンツの開発など）を通して「世界で活躍できる人材の育成」に取り組んでまいります。
また、本活動を通じてSDGs 目標4【質の高い教育をみんなに】の達成に向けた様々な取り組みも行ってまいります。
