【"As God is my witness." -- Gone with the Wind】

ふと思い出したこの言葉。"Gone with the Wind" という映画の中で Scarlet O'Hara
が3度も口にする印象的な場面。ついでに、黒人たちが口にする I's (= I am)
とか We's (= We are) という言葉も面白い。

黒人：●I's● only got two hands. Who's going to milk that cow, Miss Scarlett?
●We's● houseworkers.
