I'll write diary every day and want checking.

Hello gakusei san
I took the entrance exam for your university a long time ago.
As for me, it's a bit hard to keep a diary every day, so I'll visit here
every once in a while.
Anyway perseverance wins in the end, so keep it up!

Today, I spent happy time being surrnnded by blossome powders. My throat became terrible because of much times of cuffing. I really want them vanish.

I'm not going to post a long journal because I feel tired today.

>>5
How was its difficulity? In fact, I only took "Senter-test" so don't know that.

I hope more guys come here and post.

If I remember correctly, the difficulty level of your university's exam was so-so. lol
Back then, there were four well-known private universities in the Kansai district, which were so- called " kankan doritsu."
I submitted apllication forms to all of them and was admitted to half of them.
I also passed the entrance exams for a couple of universities located in Tokyo.
After all, I decided to go to a private university whose enroll fee was reasonable.
I don't know when the center test started because it was introduced long after I graduated from university.
But I got the impression that it was relatively easy when I happened to see the contents.

You said in your first post that you would like checking, so I'll correct
your diary. I'm a foreigner, so I have to explain in English...

>Today, I spent happy time being surrnnded by blossome powders.

Generally, inanimate things are not called 'happy'. 'Happy' is an emotion that
is associated with people or creatures. Instead of saying "happy time",
consider maybe "fun time" or "enjoyable time" etc...
I'm not sure what you meant by "blossome powders" - did you mean "Blossoming
Flowers" like in a garden?

"Today I had a fun time being surrounded by blossoming flowers."
or if you wanted to use 'happy':
"I was happy today because I was surrounded by blossoming flowers."

>My throat became terrible because of much times of cuffing.
I think you mean "coughing" instead of "cuffing"
"much times" should be "many times", but it's more appropriate to simply say "a lot" here.

"My throat became sore because of a lot of coughing."
or if you wanted to use 'many times'
"My throat became sore becauase I coughed many times"

>I'm not going to post a long journal because I feel tired today.
Perfect English.

12 :名無しさん@英語勉強中:2011/03/03(木) 12:27:04.49 .net
>>11
> Today, I spent happy time being surrounded by blossome powders.

I suppose >>6 said it half-jokingly or maybe he/she is a masochist. lol
blossome powders probably means pollen.
If you interpret the meaning of it as such, the sentence above can be logically connected with the next one.

13 :12:2011/03/03(木) 13:43:56.41 .net
>>11
> Generally, inanimate things are not called " happy"

I don't mean to retort but I can remember lots of words attached to the adjective " happy"
such as " happy birthday", " happy new year"
In addition, I found many examples used the phrase " happy time" when I searced for them by google engine.

14 :名無しさん@英語勉強中:2011/03/03(木) 21:52:32.08 .net
Hey how is it going?
I'm writing a journal on PC so can post little bit longer. But there isn't auto-spell-correcting-system as there was with my mobilephone,
there will be more mistakes. lol
Today, it was so cold. But same time, there seemed to be less pollen so I could spend comfortably than yesterday.
I was leaning new English words used in a business scene at the libraly, and got difficulity to remenber. I hate to learn nouns which is unable or hard for me
to explain with easier word, (for example,''sales-management,'' is that I cannot interrept if I don't know.)
In fact, I always tend not to try to remenber new words, but to explain using easier words. When I was in Sweden for studying-abroad-program, I was laughed at
my saying ''Please make your oppinion short '' in stead of ''sammurilze'' or ''The capasity how many people or things can be'' in stead of ''accomodate''.
Not to make same mistakes, now, I'm making efforts to learn new words.
Now, I think It's time to post, so I'll make it end.

>>8
I surprised at what there is a much the older who is browsing 2ch.
In your age, ''center-test'' is called ''Kyoutu-Itizi-Shiken'' ,isn't it?
>>9
So i'm sure you looks like ''Guts-man'' in ''Rock-man''. Sad.
>>10
Please sayi in English or Japanese, sorry.
>>11
Thanky you fpr your correcting.
As >>12 says, I half-jokingly said it.
Is it ok to use ''happy'' if i think pollen is a monster?

I've decided to write a diary from today on. It's hard for me to keep a diary every day, so I'll
try it once in a while.
To be honest, I've hardly written a diary even in Japanese so far.
I therefore feel that it's a bit challenging for me to keep it only in English.
I'm sure I'll bump against a wall soon.
In order to avoid this, I'm going to compose sentences in Japnese first, then tranlate them
into English.

Your English is very good.
To say the least, I can tell you that you've learned basic grammer rules.
It's essential for English learners to acquire the knowledge of them.
When I read the sentences written by those who make light of grammar rules, it's very difficult to understand what they mean by them.

Clear. Warm.

The JFK's daughter is said to be getting the post of the ambassador in Japan.
She is 55 year-old author and attorney, though she has never been engaged in the latter practically,
whose brother is deceased in his 38.
She also has no experiences in public services and this would be the first one.

Well, it's rather good news to us Japan than bad.
In my view, the president Obama thinks Japan is still essential friend and
expects the virgin's diplomatic efficiency and influence on this country.
North Korea's uprising matter is also a vital factor.

Read "My Weird School #3".
Its funny taste makes me laugh a lot.
But too childish.

81 : ◆n75srZXDzQ :2013/04/05(金) 03:23:34.48 .net
P.S.

The United States is on high alert against the North Korea.
Some US destroyers, spy-planes and jet-fighters have been deployed to places close to the North, including Guam.
I'm afraid this inevitable action in response to Kim's consecutive provocation might be the detonator in turn, and a warfare might break out of which relevant countries have a fear.
Honestly speaking, however, I hope US, Japan and other partners could take it over.

82 : ◆n75srZXDzQ :2013/04/05(金) 23:30:45.98 .net
Friday, April 5
Comfortably warm, but cherry blossoms have fallen.

Read "A Young People's History of the United States", chapter 2.

When it comes to the early phase of the North America, I thought that there were only whites, Indians, and blacks.
This is not true.
I must admit that I've lacked awareness for long years of four elements had existed simultaneously amongst the primitive US; colonists, native Americans, black slaves and also white servants, which were treated as badly as slaves.
In addition, colonists can be separated into poor ones and rich ones, which collided with each other in the late 17c.
That astonishes me.
How complicated their relations were!

This thread seems ruined (no tutors, no arguments) and suitable to me, so I'll have my ass seated :)

Saturday, 6 April
Rained in the morning.

Weather forecast says there is low pressure above Japan.
It is going to cause a heavy rain and stormy winds until tomorrow evening.
Unfortunately, it falls on my trip to Atami, Shizuoka.
It's N's birthday (my friend) and difficult to be put off.
I just hope it will be calmer when I take off.
The worst thing is she's having her period!
How dreary it is!
But it doesn't matter...maybe.

P.S.

Purchased "1駅1題 新TOEIC(R) TEST 文法 特急 [Kindle版]", 花田 徹也.
And finished it.

Read the History, chapter 3.
It's about white frontiersmen's fights against the rich class together with servants and slaves.
Bacon's Rebellion,

Masters lived in fear of servants' rebellions and therefore gave them some privileges.
Gradually slaves replaced servants.
Within the colonies, there was much conflicts; "...Slave and free, servant and master, tenant and landlord, poor and rich..."
What should the colonists use to tranquilize them all?
--Racism.
Racism made the colonists, frontiersmen, white servants, and newly rising middle class unite.
It is pretty reasonable to me but not easily acceptable that inequality was essential to cultivate better and somewhat equal relationships amongst whites.

Sunday, 7 April
Super windy.

It was lucky that the rain had stopped when I woke up at 6, but heavy winds were still blowing.
I set for N's place to pick her up and when I arrived at around the noon she was doing her vocational studies for promotion to be a regular employee.

In Atami, there are many decrepit hotels that seem to be built during the bubble economy, but our hotel was renovated recently so it's very modern.

起雲閣: Originally built as a villa, It's used to be a hotel. Glorious Japanese authors such as 太宰治, 志賀直哉, 谷崎潤一郎, 武田泰淳 and 舟橋聖一 (actually I didn't know him well) stayed there.

Had a buffet dinner. I want to expand my stomach for this kind of meal. Most guests were families with kids.
One of the kids impersonating a chef in white moved about here and there, drinking a cup of juice. N loved it.

Suddenly about 10 attendants came to us, served a desert plate with a message written in chocolate and sang "Happy Birthday" for N.
That's because I checked "for the birthday" as the main objective of the trip when I checked in at the front, but it is not only N but also me who were surprised by it.

It was disappointing that she couldn't take a public bath because of IT.

Sunday, 8 April
Clear and hot.

In the early morning I had a bath alone.
It was spectacular to see the city and the sea through a large glass in a public bath, though the hot sun was already up in the sky and its glares prevented me from looking straight at them.
Had a buffet breakfast. Ate too much.

Kinomiya shrine (来宮神社): There is a huge camphor tree. People believe that those who have walked around the tree can accomplish their wishes or should get a new leash of life.

MOA museum: Large. It made us feel we were above the sky. The collection was mainly composed of pictures, pottery and tools of the medieval Japan.

On the way to N's home, we had a lunch at Ebina service area (rest area). It has been long years since the last time I visited. Clean, cozy and convenient facility it is indeed.

The price of the stock I have is rising.
I shouldn't have sold my shares.

Wednesday, April 10
A bit cloudy.

That's good Japanese ceder pollen, one of the main causes of hay fever, has gone, but Japanese still can't do without wearing masks due to yellow dust and PM2.5.

North Korea didn't launch a missile today.

Light rain shower.

I started working on a NHK's radio program, "英語で読む村上春樹", and reading Haruki Murakami's "The Elephant Vanishes", which is very short story of less than 7,000 words.

Speaking of Murakami, I've read a few of his novels, and I can say "Hard-boiled Wonderland" is nice,
though I like neither him nor his books.

Saturday, April 13
Clear.

Yesterday, I washed my car.
Murakami's new novel has been launched.

Today, I attended a first-year memorial service of my-mother's-sister's-mother-in-law, which took place in Saitama pref.
The monk hardly chanted a sutra and let people sing an annoying childish song.
He seems to be more interested in the conventional form and interpretation of Buddhistic ritual than its mysterious aspect.
What was the most shocking thing was that I heard he clearly shows people the price of his service.

It is sunny outside but hell scared to go out because I don't wanna get no tan

i will return there later

pg 2

The revenge thread was pretty interesting to me.
I was raised that it is not good to show emotions or whatsoever,
but is it really that bad? I really don't think so

I get so pissed when somebody does something to my nephew or my family
So maybe not a revenge, but why don't we express ourselves lightly
whether than to spend our precious time on wishing them to burn in hell

Actually, I got so mad with this my former neighbor, he yelled at me and my ex
I was so burned with anger and got a fever for 3 days but it's not a big deal for me
anymore because probably I had done something wrong too. Although,
sometimes I wish he deserves what he had done to us. I have to survive until that day! yeah!

Dear Diary

I was writing this regime and pretty impressed by how many jobs
I had changed in my life. I don't care as long as I'm satisfied

I truely can not believe someone who's fired or leave their working place,
they are so depressed that they have to kill themselves.
If they were me, they have to kill themselves several times...
It is quite amazing that I'm kinda still living somehow

I think it is truely do to my good deeds, including visiting graves
of my ancestors

Thank you God I really appreicate your kindness
