ミュージシャンのYOSHIKIが20日に東京・六本木のグランドハイアット東京で開催するディナーショー 「EVENING/BREAKFAST with YOSHIKI 2023 in TOKYO JAPAN 世界一豪華な DINNER SHOW」の最終公演に、 ロックバンド「X JAPAN」のベーシストHEATHがゲストとして出演することが発表された。 このステージの模様は、同日午後7時よりニコニコチャンネルおよびYouTube Channelメンバーシップで配信される『YOSHIKI CHANNEL』で生中継される。 X JAPANは、7月28日に8年ぶりとなるシングル「Angel」をリリース。 同曲は日本、ノルウェー、マカオ、台湾でチャート1位、香港のオール・ジャンル・チャート、オランダのロック・チャートで2位、フランスのロック・チャートで3位を獲得し、全世界で話題を呼んだ。 今月4日からスタートし、全16公演のラストを飾るステージで、2人のコラボレーションに期待がかかる。 なお、YOSHIKIは個人としても最新シングル「Requiem」のリリースを控えており、9月8日には自身が監督を務める音楽ドキュメンタリー映画「YOSHIKI:UNDER THE SKY」が公開される。
